Call for articles for the next Ramsar Culture Network newsletter on ‘The Language of Wetlands’
The Ramsar Culture Network is looking for authors for short articles on the topic of ‘The Language of Wetlands’. If you are interested in contributing, please contact Mariam Kenza Ali, Manager for Culture & Livelihoods at ali@ramsar.org. The deadline for articles is June 15th. Short videos are also welcome. Some suggested topics include:
– bio-cultural diversity in wetlands
– use of language extinction risk as a bio-cultural indicator
– indigenous knowledge systems in wetlands
– the literature of wetlands & local wetland vocabularies
